The True CSA: Bare Knuckle Box

Pick up a box of fresh-picked veggies every week. Season starts May 24 and continues until it gets too cold, sometime in October. You’ll get the highlights of our farm – the freshest stuff, all picked that morning. We’ll include classic veggie staples and add in a few great tasting obscure things – with recipes from Abra included, of course!

Expect the occasional sunflower bouquet or plate of fresh-baked cookies. As the summer continues, you will see some stone fruits from our neighbors and eggs from our hens. We promise you won’t get kale every week. The CSA is limited to 15 families so we will be able to handle special requests.

Your box will be available for pick-up every Tuesday in the big, yellow barn at the farm or at the Fiebing house in Suttons Bay. We’d love to chat and answer questions when you come to pick up you box. We will be live and in person every week from 11-3 at the farm and from 5-7pm at the Fiebing house.

$500 for at least 20 weeks

The Shopper: Bare Knuckle Bucks

Bare Knuckle Bucks are the best way for you to invest in our farm and eat delicious produce all season long. By signing up ahead of time, we’ll give you an instant dollar increase on your investment.

Here’s how it works…
• Decide how much you would like to invest and write us a check for that amount. The more you invest, the bigger the bonus.
$50 = 55 Bare Knuckle Bucks
$100 = 110 BKB
$250 = 300 BKB
• Shop weekly at any of our farmers market stands.
• We’ll keep track of your balance; you just pick out what you need and be on your way. No cash money needed!

Spent all your dollars? You can reinvest with us anytime during the season. Didn’t spend it all? You can spend it on winter storage foods like potatoes and onions. Or wait until spring; the dollars will roll over to the next season.

To hold a spot in the CSA we ask for a $100 deposit and final payment by June 1, 2011. You can sign up for and renew Bare Knuckle Bucks anytime throughout the season.
